Questions families ask
Good to know
Do visitors need to download an app?
No. Scanning the QR code with any phone camera, or tapping an NFC-enabled phone to the marker, opens the memorial in the phone's web browser.
Is there a yearly subscription?
No. Long-term hosting is included in the purchase. Optional premium services are available, but the memorial does not depend on a recurring payment.
Will my cemetery allow the marker?
Every cemetery has its own rules. We work with the cemetery or monument provider to confirm approval and the right attachment method before anything is placed.
Who decides what's shown publicly?
The family administrator. Contributions from relatives and friends wait for approval, and any content can be kept private to the family.
How does the marker hold up outdoors?
Markers are designed for weather, sun and long-term outdoor exposure, and are tested for durability and reliable scanning.
Can we download everything?
Yes. Families can export photos, videos, recordings and stories at any time, and name successor administrators to carry the memorial forward.
